To build and strengthen the capacities of district and block program managers of Tumkur.
The Institute of Public Health (IPH) is a public health research and training institute based in Bangalore, India. The training will be conducted primarily by IPH faculty. External faculty for sessions which need expertise from the particular field will also be invited.
The district and block program managers of Tumkur district will undergo training. A total of 10 block program mangers and 1 district program managers will be trained in the program.
The training will be conducted in Tumkur on every Monday of the week from 10 .00 am – 1.00 pm. Starting from September 2011
Adult learning principles will be employed during the design and the delivery of the modules. The training program will employ participatory learning methods. It will incorporate methods like group discussions, role plays, case studies, simulation exercises and ample use of audio visual films.
